Hi, my name is Lorene and I am the owner of Sewtopia Patterns. I am 29, mother of two boys and wife to a wonderful man that is my best friend and soulmate. We're a fun, dorky, crazy family that loves to spend lots of time together. Since my oldest was born almost seven years ago I have worked out of the home off and on, but I am blessed to be able to stay at home with my boys full time again.
I love crafting, and sewing is my passion. I have the "knack", you could say, for being able to see something and re-create it with my sewing machine. Sometimes, this ends in a spectacular failure, but other times it works out well. When I find that I've created something wonderful, I have to share it with the world. I'm an engineer by trade (well, by college education at least) and I'm really good at describing how to put something together, with words. And that's how Sewtopia Patterns was born. It's my hope that you'll enjoy some of my crafting successes and failures, and I'll be sharing not only my sewing tutorials on the blog for free, but also links to my etsy shop where you can buy some of my more complicated patterns and handmade items. I'll also be sharing a little about my life as a wife, mom, P90X nut, food lover, and daughter in Christ.
